I was born and raised in Guayaquil, Ecuador. After completing my high school education, I moved to Ottawa, Canada to pursue a degree in Telecommunications System Engineering.
Upon graduation, I worked for over a decade on testing and optimizing mobile and network systems for leading organizations such as Blackberry and Nortel. During this time, I honed my log analysis, troubleshooting, and debugging skills, specifically in LTE, VoLTE, CDMA voice calls, EVDO, and UMTS data calls within VoIP and data throughput applications.

Following my innate passion for innovation and business development, I invested in a Canadian startup focused on developing digital technology for the food and beverage industry, helping them launch a product that would digitize traditional loyalty programs in 2012. I contributed to the launch of their first major client, created the first development team, and introduced Agile processes within the company. Later on, I transitioned to a more commercial implementation role before expanding the company internationally. I led the sales team, spearheading its growth to over ten countries throughout Latin America.

My expertise in sales, business development, and project management helped to scale up the company’s client base reach and channels to market. I was an expert in the agile development process and had substantial expertise in customer onboarding. As a leader, I excelled in building teams and delivering products. I mentored and inspired my team members to reach their full potential.

My contributions to Spoonity and the Canadian and Latin American business community have been significant, and my dedication to innovation and excellence continues to inspire others. Today, I am recognized as a visionary business leader and an expert in the telecommunications industry with highly valued communication and interpersonal skills in three languages: English, Spanish, and Italian.

Outside work, I am a devoted husband and father of two wonderful children. Once a competitive tennis player, I have recently developed a taste for cross-country sky, which helps me to embrace the Canadian winters.
