As VP of Data Science and Strategy, Brad Deutsch is responsible for building and scaling Siftwell’s data team and infrastructure.

Before joining Siftwell, Brad worked as VP of Data Science at Known Global, where he led data science and analytics projects for large tech and media companies, developing new products, methodologies, and best practices across Known’s technical teams. His background emphasizes experimentation and causal inference in situations where randomized, controlled trials are not possible.

Prior to Known, Brad earned his PhD in Optics at the University of Rochester Institute of Optics and was a Beckman Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign where he invented new techniques in microscopy.

Brad enjoys hanging out with his kids, cooking, chess, and messing around on the piano.
