obin is a highly accomplished professional with extensive experience in AI and financial data, currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at MindBridge AI. With a strong entrepreneurial background, Robin founded several software start-ups, including one in the UK that was acquired by Cognos in 2005, leading to his relocation to Canada. His tenure at IBM was marked by significant achievements, including winning IBM’s Innovation Impact of the Year award in 2012 for his work on GPU-based high-performance analytics algorithms, and leading the development of IBM’s Watson Analytics cloud offering, which won the InfoWorld Technology of the Year award in 2016.

He is an inventor with numerous patents in data processing, algorithm optimization, security, and cognitive AI systems. Robin holds a first-class honors degree in Physics and Computing Science from Newcastle University, UK. He has held board seats in various technology companies and contributes to the tech community through his involvement with the Carleton University Institute of Data Science and volunteering in STEM programs. Notably, he was part of the NASA-sponsored Cubes in Space project in 2018.

Beyond his professional achievements, Robin is an avid downhill skier, taking advantage of living in Ottawa to ski every weekend in winter with his family.
