have spent my career building and developing technology companies alongside exceptional people. My passion for the tech sector has allowed me to help create multiple start-ups from scratch and serve as a senior executive at major industry leaders such as Hewlett-Packard, Cisco, Symantec, and Sun/Oracle.
Today, I serve as the CEO at MindBridge, a pioneer in financial AI leveraged by some of the most sophisticated and forward-thinking enterprises and auditing firms in the world. Before MindBridge, I served as CEO at numerous high-performing venture-backed start-ups including Cobalt Networks (IPO, acquired by Sun/Oracle), Azul Systems, WorkMarket (acquired by ADP), and CloudBees. Each of these companies was a pioneer in their market and their technology. Each company grew with the impact of their innovation and each exited or scaled successfully to leadership in their field. Following Cobalt’s dramatic IPO and multi-billion dollar merger with Sun, I stayed on as the VP/GM of Edge Computing for Sun. I also served as the Chief Strategy Officer for Automation Anywhere, a pioneer in robotic process automation (RPA) where I reported to the CEO.
Before my time at these innovative start-ups, I spent many years at HP during a pivotal moment in its history. I held three roles during my tenure there focused on regional leadership, functional leadership, and R&D. I served as the SVP and GM of the Americas for the Personal Systems Division leading the company’s largest revenue-generating unit. I also later served as SVP of the WebOS global business unit and finally as SVP of Enterprise Marketing as we set the company up for its split.
Before HP, I served on the executive staff at Cisco and Symantec reporting to the CEO both times. At Cisco, I led both Enterprise Marketing and was the GM of their Network Management business unit. At Symantec, I led the worldwide marketing function and spent time as the company’s Managing Director of their Canadian subsidiary.
I serve on numerous Boards and work closely through my Advisory business (www.wittsend.us) with many inspiring founders, VCs, private equity firms, and leadership teams to drive the highest degrees of operating performance.
