Doug is an accomplished motivator of technical and professional staff, with over twenty years of experience in telecommunications networking, service and network management, and all aspects of software product development and life cycle management.

At Martello, Doug is responsible for the company's software development and for building a first class development team. Building Vantage DX, Martello's SaaS offering for Microsoft Teams Digital Experience Monitoring has involved creating DevSecOps infrastructure using Kubernetes in Azure, AWS, and GCP.

Doug has grown Martello's software team from three people in Canada to more than 50 with teams in Canada, France, the Netherlands, and the United States. Continuous innovation on products and agile processes has allowed this growth to happen while remaining profitable and securing financing at increasing valuations.

In 2018 Martello successfully executed a public listing on the TSX Venture exchange, providing access to the capital necessary to pursue a strategy of selective acquisitions and ongoing product development.

Doug previously held positions at Nakina Systems (sold to Nokia), Atreus Systems (sold to Sonus), Solect Technology (sold to Amdocs), CrossKeys Systems (IPO), CADLink Technology (still operating) and Newbridge Networks (IPO).

Prior to co-founding Atreus, Doug was a founding member of CrossKeys Systems Corporation, a leading network and service management company that achieved IPO in 1997.

Doug holds a B.A. Sc. (Honours, Applied Science in Electrical Engineering) from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario.
