Phil is a changemaker and community builder who leverages technology and venture capital as tools to create a more equitable future for all. As a trilingual Haitian-Canadian-American who has lived and worked in Canada, the USA, and China, Phil’s superpower is connecting with like-minded leaders from various backgrounds to help drive progress and innovation. Phil is an Investment Associate at Real Ventures, where his job is to find the best entrepreneurs who are using innovative solutions to solve big problems, and provide them with the support they need to scale their companies. Phil is also the founder of Rep Matters, which creates initiatives that inspire, connect, and support Black founders. His background and passion for healthcare also keeps him well connected to his community. As a board member of the Black Health Alliance, Phil helps this community-led registered charity work to improve the health and well-being of Black communities across Canada. In addition, he volunteers as a mentor and coach for the Red Rush Basketball Leadership program.
