Jiajia joined EnerTech in 2018 after being chosen for the EnerTech Student Venture Program and works in the Toronto office. She is responsible for conducting research to support strategy and decision making, and performs preliminary deal screening, providing investment and strategic support to the team.

Prior to EnerTech Capital, Jiajia was a Research Assistant with a focus on energy and environmental economics at the University of Toronto. While there, she taught entry-to-advanced level finance and economic courses as a Teaching Assistant. Jiajia graduated from the University of Toronto with a B.Com with High Distinction in Economics & Finance, as well as an M.A. in Economics with a focus in Econometrics. She is a CFA Level III candidate.

Jiajia loves snowboarding, hiking, and has even gone skydiving to challenge herself. She’s a foodie, speaks three languages, (English, Mandarin, and Cantonese) and codes for fun!
