With over 25 years of executive leadership experience, Dave has a distinguished track record in a diversity of fields. He has experience working successfully in startups, small-to-medium businesses, and large multinational organizations, as well as doing business in North America, South America, Asia, Europe and the Middle East.

Dave is the COO for Field Effect, a cybersecurity company that builds powerful solutions and services designed to protect businesses of all sizes from cyber attacks, where he leverages his years of experience leading go-to-market, product, operations, and services teams. Prior to joining Field Effect, Dave was the Chief Revenue Officer for Assent, a global leader in SaaS supply chain data management sustainability, where he grew ARR over 400%. Dave held positions as VP Marketing & Sales for Pleora Technologies, a developer of world-leading high-performance video interfaces; Senior VP Sales & Marketing for Mxi Technologies (acquired by IFS), an aviation management products and services provider; VP Marketing for QNX Software Systems, a real-time operating system software provider; as COO for Texar Corporation, a security infrastructure software company; and as VP Sales & Marketing for Bridgewater Systems, an access control software company for wireless and wireline service providers.

FOUNDATIONAL EXPERIENCE

Prior to 1996, Dave held positions in product marketing, program management, product management and R&D with both Newbridge Networks and Mitel Corporation.

Board Experience:
Dave is a past director of the Advanced Imaging Association (AIA) Board of Directors, former director of the Mxi Board of Directors and former director of the OCRI Board of Directors.

Speaking Experience:
Dave is a seasoned speaker having presented at international conferences, as well as locally at OCRI events.

Mentoring:
During his career, Dave has mentored and coached upwards of 100 young professionals. He has been a regular guest speaker for the Queens University MBAST and Business Consulting program. He also contributed articles to the 2009 and 2011 Entrepreneurial Effect books published by James Bowden.
