NAOMI MORISAWA DE KOVEN is the managing lawyer of a law firm for entrepreneurs and knowledge-based businesses. Naomi works regularly with management and founders on issues relating to financing and acquisitions, shareholder and investor relations, business structures, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, technology transfer, and other commercial arrangements.

Naomi was a member of the Ontario Securities Commission’s Small Business Advisory Committee for two terms and received the Ottawa Business Journal's Forty under 40 award. She is a director and corporate secretary of a number of private companies.

Naomi was previously a Toronto-based partner at a national law firm. Naomi earned her LL.B. at the University of Toronto and her B.A. from McGill University. She was called to the Ontario Bar in 1995.
