Dr. Said brings an extensive wealth of experience from working in various roles for industry leaders in Canada such as Deloitte, Irving Oil Ltd., McCain Foods among others. Currently, he is a Partner and Director of Consulting Services at Afropavo Analytics and serves as the Director of Research & Development at Tausi Africa. Tausi Africa is a fintech company that leverages AI with alternative data to provide credit scoring and micro-financing solutions for disenfranchised African communities without traditional banking credit histories. 

Additionally, Dr. Said is a professor in the Department of Mathematics and Computing, with a strong background in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. He is an IBM certified instructor for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence certificate courses and has taught at several colleges and universities in Dubai, London, Toronto, and Vancouver at both undergraduate and graduate levels. His courses include Machine Learning, Predictive Analytics, Business Analytics, Digital Transformations, Management of Information Systems, and Database Systems. His research interests focus on Machine Learning, Educational Technology, and Innovative Delivery Models. 

Dr. Said is passionate about leveraging his extensive educational background and professional experience in both industry and academia to develop sustainable digital solutions that incorporate AI/ML. These solutions are designed to bridge the gap between academic research and industry needs, accelerating progress and innovation.​
