Maryann Turcke

Board Member at RBC Royal Bank Of Canada; Frontier Communications, Diamond Sports Group, Playmaker Capital, Former COO, NFL and former President Bell Media

Maryann Turcke currently serves as a board member and strategic advisor to global companies in a range of industries.

Prior to her board and advisory service as COO of the National Football League, Maryann led the marketing, communications, HR, international, technology, events and club business development organizations.

Previously, she served as President of the NFL Media group, where she was charged with overseeing NFL Network, NFL Digital Properties and NFL Films. Turcke led the operations of the NFL Network, as well the NFL's owned and operated linear TV, digital media and technology assets, product development, content strategy and marketing.

Turcke served as President of Bell Media where she successfully led Canada’s largest media company and was responsible for their flagship television channels and annual revenues of more than $3B (CAD). Turcke has spent 12 years at Bell Canada, where prior to being named President of Bell Media she served as Group President, Media Sales, Local TV and Radio, where she leveraged Bell Media properties and brands across all platforms to support their strong position in the competitive marketplace.

Prior to her time at Bell Media, Turcke was Executive Vice President, Field Operations for Bell Canada. In that role, she was responsible for the construction and management of Bell Canada’s telecommunications services, including all of their residential and business customers. Previous to that, Turcke was Vice President, Customer Experience, Small Medium Business, responsible for customer service operations, sales support, and IT functions.

Earlier in her career, Turcke was a partner and member of the Board of Directors at Codesta LLC, a software consultancy group that specializes in enterprise applications and solutions.

Turcke is Chair of the Smith School Advisory Board. In 2019, she was named one of AdWeeks top 50 powerful women in Sports. She was also named to the Women's Executive Network's list of Canada's Most Powerful Women: Top 100 in 2009, 2010, 2012, and 2013, including an induction to the Hall of Fame. In 2015, Turcke was named Woman of the Year by Women in Communications and Technology.
