Michael Fielkow is General Counsel, Secretary and Head of Corporate Development at Harbinger, where he plays a critical role in building a company that values responsible governance in growth and a culture that is focused on inclusion and equity, environmental sustainability, technology excellence and innovation.

Prior to Harbinger, Michael was deputy general counsel and VP of global strategy at Canoo, leading corporate legal, securities, regulatory, product, and government affairs. He played a critical role in building many of Canoo’s legal and business functions, leading the company through IPO and its transition to a publicly-traded company. Earlier in his career, Michael worked at a major law firm in Chicago and Silicon Valley where he focused on M&A, capital markets and emerging technology startups. 

A native of New Orleans, Michael earned his Bachelors in Electrical Engineering and Business Administration from the University of Southern California and a Juris Doctor from the University of Chicago.
