Gilbert Passin is the Chief Production Officer at Harbinger, overseeing supply chain, quality, manufacturing engineering and production operations. Gilbert brings more than 35 years of international executive leadership in global automotive OEMs. He is an experienced operations leader who developed, launched and ran major automotive factories, EV vehicles and components throughout North America and Europe with Tesla, Toyota, Volvo Trucks, Mack Trucks and Renault.

Following his tenure at Tesla where he grew the vehicle manufacturing team from scratch, launched the Fremont factory and the Model S, as well as other EV Tesla factories and components, Gilbert is now focused on reshaping the landscape of medium-duty commercial vehicle electrification with Harbinger.

Gilbert graduated from CentraleSupelec, Paris, France with a major in Robotics. He also earned a Doctorate Honoris Causa degree in Engineering from the University of Bath, UK. He has loved cars since very young age and has dedicated his 35-year career to producing outstanding electric vehicles for the good of humanity and future generations to come.
