Jody has degrees in Computer Science and Information Systems. He is currently a Computer Science / Information Systems (CSIS) professor at PennWest University - Clarion Campus. Prior to entering academia, Dr. Strausser spent 10+ years in Department of Defense software engineering roles. In these roles, he helped to develop live, virtual, and constructive simulations and other software to aid in the training and development of the U.S. Armed Forces. He has software engineering experience working for UniSys Corp at NASA Langley, Lockheed Martin, and BMH Associates/Alion Science and Technology in the areas of defense modeling and simulation.
