Raja Chakravorti is a seasoned general manager in the financial technology space, with broad experience across startups through scaled large public companies. Raja specializes in product partnerships and 0 to 1 commercial acceleration. Raja is currently the Head of Universal Access for Plaid, where he builds partnerships with banks, neobanks, fintechs, and digital baking platform to facilitate consumer data sharing across open banking He previously was the GM and President of Root Enterprise, a B2B SaaS company leveraging data science to built underwriting assets for companies looking to diversify from FICO score. Before that, Raja was a strategist and operator across numerous businesses at PayPal, including point of sale partnerships (scaling from ~$3M to $30M in ARR over 3 years), non-profits (~$250M annual revenue) and North America Middle Market (~$1B annual revenue). Raja’s early career experience included working in structured finance at both Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan. Raja holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Michigan, and an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
