As the Manager of Partnerships at DMZ, Alex helps facilitate and implement strategic relationships between the founders, partners and the DMZ.

Alex recently worked for the Career and Co-op & Student Success department at Toronto Metropolitan University. He collaborated with existing and new partners to gain insight into their early talent goals and employment strategies. Alex facilitated on-campus events such as career fairs, resume workshops, TED Talks, mock interview sessions, and off-campus events like hackathons, mentorship programs, and job shadowing. Alex’s expertise in partnership management and his ability to connect employers with students made him a valuable asset to the university.

Before joining TMU, Alex spent over a decade working with the Toronto Blue Jays, where he played a crucial role in helping fans and corporate partners alike grow their businesses and passion for the team. Specifically, his exceptional relationship management skills fostered strong connections that contributed to the team’s revenue growth and overall performance. Alex built a reputation as a trusted partner and a valuable asset to the organization.
