Originally from Japan, I graduated from Jissen Women’s University in Tokyo with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature. After having worked as a certified translator for a decade, I identified that my strength lies in building relationships. My career started as a Senior Recruitment Consultant in a firm in downtown Vancouver, while completing an HR Management Certificate at Simon Fraser University, to broaden my capacity in the field. I believe that strategic talent management is integral to corporate success. Since I moved to Ottawa in 2018, I have become a persuasive advocate to internationally trained talent on a global scale, championing Ottawa's values of inclusive and diverse culture.
