Adam Ścibior is the CTO and Co-Founder of Inverted AI. He is also an adjunct professor of computer science at the University of British Columbia. 

Adam previously was a postdoc at the University of British Columbia working with Frank Wood, and received his PhD in machine learning at University of Cambridge under Zoubin Ghahramani and the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems under Bernhard Schölkopf as a part of the Cambridge-Tübingen PhD programme.

His research contributions center around probabilistic programming, in particular on exploiting composition of Bayesian inference algorithms using functional programming.

He currently lives in Vancouver and plays volleyball, hikes, trains Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and enjoys chess and stand-up comedy.
