Kyle works full-time at Katchi in the role of Mechanical Engineer B.Eng. Kyle's role is to manage and develop the mechanical engineering and control system design for the novel Katchi system. Kyle's education in mechanical engineering, enjoyment of robotics, and prior control system design experience positions him well to develop the automation required for this Katchi's Auto Trawl system. Kyle grew up in Sambro, Nova Scotia where he gained experience as a plant processor and fisher, which instilled in him a strong passion for the industry. This passion eventually lead to his job at Katchi in pursuit of a better solution for our oceans.
