Ryan is Communications Director at Ag Capital Canada. 

She holds an MA (English) from UBC, a BA (English and French Literature) from the University of Toronto and a BEd (Diversity Initiative) from York University.  

Ryan began her career as an editorial assistant at Talonbooks in Burnaby, BC, where she rose to the position of Acquisitions Editor. Upon returning to Ontario, she continued to work as a freelance editor while pursuing a career in education (in both English and French). 

In 2019, she accepted a multi-faceted role at DePutter Publishing, where she rediscovered her passion for editing. She now brings linguistic precision and artistic flair to managing the communications needs of Ag Capital Canada. 

Ryan lives in London, Ontario with her husband Bret. She enjoys yoga, tennis, training her miniature schnauzer (Beatrix) and spending time at her cottage in Quebec.
