Tianyuan Lu

Tianyuan obtained his PhD in Quantitative Life Sciences from McGill University. He has extensive training in human genetics, biostatistics and epidemiology. During his PhD, Tianyuan developed several novel statistical genetics methods for improving the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of complex diseases. He has published >10 first-authored research articles and was a Vanier Scholar (2021-2022).

At 5 Prime Sciences, Tianyuan develops computational pipelines to identify genetic determinants of diseases, implements polygenic risk scores and conducts Mendelian randomization studies.
