Spectral and Phase Contrast X-ray imaging

X-ray technology has been around for more than a century but is still rooted in its black and white past. Spectral (or color) X-rays have been around for over 40 years and are well known to better visualize pulmonary nodules, pneumonia and in-dwelling devices at 50X less radiation than a CT but older generation spectral systems (also called dual energy) are limited by technology workflow. With a unique three-layered X-ray detector, our team is using the latest spectral X-ray technology to bring mobile and fixed dual energy X-ray imaging into the 21st century. Read more about our approach and accomplishments at KA Imaging (www.kaimaging.com) and the University of Waterloo and find out how you can upgrade your existing X-ray equipment to a spectral X-ray system.
