Delivery-focused FinTech Partner, former Goldman Sachs MD & Global Technology leader. Simon Knowles is a former MD in Engineering at Goldman Sachs. During his 20+ year career at Goldman, Simon designed, developed and managed many aspects of the Asset Management platform that enables the $2 Trillion public market investing business. Throughout his career Simon partnered with the Asset Management divisional leadership to build the in-house developed platform that supports the global Fixed Income and Liquidity Solutions portfolios. He has 15+ years of front-office engineering experience and 7+ years of building trades processing, cash management and data management aspects of the AM platform. As AM Public Engineering MD, Simon was responsible for recruiting, managing and mentoring ~70 engineers based in London who all work as part of the ~1400 strong global engineering team that support the global Asset Management business. Simon has spent the last 18 months at Goldman ensuring the NNIP acquisition was ready for deal-close and ensuring a post-deal integration plan was put in place to integrate the ~1000 NNIP employees into Goldman Sachs Asset Management.
