Shannon joined ArcTern with experience across investing, management consulting, start-ups and engineering. She evaluated direct private equity investment opportunities and supported portfolio company exits (IPOs and M&A) at CPP Investments, focused on strategy projects as a consultant at A.T. Kearney and gained operating experience as a General Manager at ResQ following their Series A. As an engineering student, she designed solar-powered mechanical systems for an autonomous home and co-chaired the Queen’s Global Energy Conference.
Shannon completed her B.A.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Queen’s University, where she received the Gold Medal for obtaining the highest GPA across the graduating class of ~700 students. Outside of work, she enjoys camping (once went on a month-long canoe trip in Northern Ontario), running and soccer.
