With over 15 years of experience in the nonprofit and public sectors, I am a highly accomplished marketing, communications, and fundraising expert. At the Accelerator Centre, where I hold the position of Vice President of Marketing and External Relations, I lead a dynamic team focused on fostering the growth and success of entrepreneurs, startups, and scale-ups in the Waterloo region and beyond.

My passion lies in crafting and executing impactful strategies that not only elevate the Accelerator Centre's programs but also contribute to innovation, collaboration, and social good. Leveraging a robust skill set in digital marketing, content marketing, email marketing, marketing automation, website maintenance, search engine optimization, and search engine marketing, I've significantly enhanced the visibility, reach, and engagement of the organization's initiatives.

As a strategic leader, I oversee the development and implementation of the Accelerator Centre's brand identity, key messages, and storytelling across diverse channels and platforms. My role extends to managing and coordinating external relations activities, encompassing fundraising, advocacy, public relations, and media relations, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic goals and objectives.

My accomplishments extend beyond the professional realm, with nominations for the Profound Impact: Impactful Actions Award and the Ryerson University’s DMZ Women of the Year Award. I have also earned the prestigious 2021 Global Women in Leadership Award from the Global Council for The Promotion of International Trade.

In addition to my professional achievements, I contribute to the community as a Board Member and Mid-career Mentor at Women in Communications and Technology Waterloo Region.
