This provides an exceptional understanding of how to assess and deliver member needs. She ensures members interests are met, broaden industry awareness and promote sound public policy.

As CEO, she enhances the value of membership while reinforcing and building CVCA’s role with media, government, investors and businesses.

Prior to joining CVCA, Furlong was Director of Federal Government Affairs and National Policy and the voice of Amgen with the federal government, national regulatory, pricing bodies and trade associations.

A respected corporate leader, she brings with her an impressive network of national and international business leaders, diplomats, politicians and political staff across all major political parties both federally and provincially. With a deep and rich understanding of the inner workings of government, she has multiple wins moving governments in a chosen direction.

A French Quebecer, Furlong was born and raised in the picturesque town of Percé on the Gaspé Peninsula. She now lives in Toronto with her husband Howie and her twin boys commonly know as "the Peanuts"
