Katie has an extensive background providing care to her community. She is a graduate of University of Guelph-Humber holding a Bachelor of Applied Science in Family and Community Social Service and a Social Service Worker diploma. Katie has worked with various populations including youth, newcomers, and persons with disabilities within the Employment and Settlement fields. Through this experience, Katie found she had a passion to support individuals with connecting to appropriate supports and resources so they can reach their mental health goals and thrive within their community. In her free time, Katie enjoys spending time with her family, reading and cuddling up with her dogs.
