Amy is a Registered nurse, graduate from the University of Ryerson and holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Amy has 14+ years of nursing experience and over 20+ years serving in the health care industry.
Amy has an extensive background in healthcare leadership that was built off her passion and work as a front-line nurse. Her experiences have been based in acute care, supporting seniors care in retirement and long-term care home settings, specialties in end-of-life care and health care management.
She is a former Long Term Care Home Inspector for the province of Ontario, and has served as Executive Director and Director of Care for various Long Term Care homes across Ontario. She has worked at Home and Community Care and Bayshore Home Health, and also was previously awarded the Hospice Dufferin Palliative Care Award.
Throughout her career, Amy has been devoted to providing patients and families with a high level of optimal care that is founded on dignity, quality, and compassion and continues to have the determination to find ways to help seniors live some of their best days in the homes and settings of their choice.
