Robert Vance joined Gentex in 2018 as Vice President of New Markets. He is responsible for the strategic development of new markets, technologies, and partnerships that can grow to provide a secure and substantial future for Gentex’s products and team. Prior to this role, Robert served as Vice President of Innotec Corporation’s Strategic Development team, where he focused on growing Innotec’s technologies, industries, business models, and partnerships.

From 2005-2011, Robert served as Gentex Corporation’s Vice President of Business Development for Japanese Automakers. Prior to that, he worked at Johnson Controls for over a decade, serving in various positions in Finance, Operations, Business Management and Executive Leadership. Robert holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Hope College with a focus on Finance and Foreign Languages and completed his graduate studies at Meiji Gakuin University in Japan.
