Wendell Thomas has served as the Vice President of Information Systems and Technology at Smile Train since February 2022, where he leads the Information Technology department’s management of global technology operations, including information systems, cloud technologies, networking, data integrity and security, and communications systems.

Wendell comes with over 20 years of technology experience in the non-profit and for-profit sectors. Before joining Smile Train, Wendell brought his information technology and security expertise as Vice President, Information Technology to Safe Horizon, the largest US victim services non-profit organization serving over 250,000 people annually.

Wendell holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management, a Master of Science in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance from Western Governors University.
