As Chief Financial Officer, Premali is responsible for managing overall finance functions, including strategy, budgeting, planning, and building finance infrastructure to better support Smile Train’s mission. Premali has over two decades of experience with record accomplishments in designing, strengthening, and managing overall financial operations by streamlining complex processes for an array of social impact organizations.

Prior to joining Smile Train, she held finance leadership positions at various non-profit, for-profit as well as audit and consulting organizations. Most recently, she was Chief Financial Officer at The Legal Aid Society in New York. Having worked across the globe, Premali has a deep sense of appreciation for various backgrounds and cultures and strives toward creating an inclusive work environment.

Premali has an MBA from Birmingham City University, UK, and a Masters in Accounting and Finance from the University of Mumbai, India.
