Hello, I am Petar Kramaric, the CTO and part of the Flybits founding team, over the last 12 years I have helped guide Flybits as a company from a university research group to an international company with employees all around the world.

I began my career developing Android applications before the platform had even reached the market. In the early days of Flybits, I founded and led the mobile team, personally writing many of the SDKs that our clients continue to rely on today. During that time, I built and maintained a diverse range of Android applications, from small enterprise solutions to large-scale projects for multinational organizations, as well as several publicly available apps.

After successfully building and leading the mobile team, I sought a new challenge, which led me to establish the Flybits Cloud and Infrastructure team. The company needed to elevate the importance of cloud infrastructure within the engineering organization, and I quickly developed a deep passion for this area. This role allowed me to broaden my understanding of the wider technology spectrum, exploring domains that were previously unfamiliar to me.

After several years of leading the Cloud and Infrastructure team, I took great pride in seeing it become fully self-sufficient. It was then time for me to embrace a new challenge, stepping into the role of CTO at Flybits, a position I continue to hold today. As CTO, I’ve had the privilege of working closely with the business side of the company, ensuring that our technological vision is perfectly aligned with our broader business goals.

* Led a team of over 50 engineers and product experts, driving innovation and collaboration.
* Operationalized key security initiatives, including SOC2 and ISO compliance, ensuring the company’s security posture.
* Streamlined cloud operations, optimizing infrastructure costs for greater efficiency.
* Collaborated closely with key organizational units such as finance, product, customer success, and sales to align technology with business objectives.
* Designed and implemented SDKs and Mobile Application used by Flybits’ customers and internal developers.
* Built and maintained strong vendor and partner relationships across the technology landscape.
* Spearheaded initiatives to enhance the engineering culture at Flybits, fostering a more innovative and cohesive team environment.
