I'm a Healthcare Investor at one of Canada's top healthcare VC firms. Originally from Toronto, I moved to Scotland for medical school. After graduating as a doctor, I decided to forgo clinical medicine and move to the forefront of healthcare innovation. I moved to Amsterdam where I was introduced to the VC world at M Ventures, the corporate VC fund of Merck KGaA. From the first month I was there, I knew this was something I loved. Following my experience, I moved back to Canada, originally in Montreal and most recently Toronto to work at Amplitude, Canada's best healthcare venture firm! On the personal side, during my time in Amsterdam, I realized there's only so much Netflix and Youtube you can watch before you go crazy. So from 2018. I committed to investing in my own education and have spent the last few years reading, writing and challenging myself. Have read 250+ non-fiction books, written 850+ blog posts and recently finished 2 books, one about career transitions and the other a collection of poetry.
