Canadian Business Magazine won’t call just anyone the ‘Dean of Condos’—in my experience, it can take as long as four decades to earn the title. After following a passion for business and earning a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Toronto, I started in real estate in the early 1970s, focusing on the then-emerging market of condominiums. Determined to be the best in a new sector, I used my passion for real estate to fuel my ambition and pursue opportunities.

As the founder and president of Milborne Group, I’ve guided the company through setbacks and challenges to become one of the leading real estate companies in the Canadian condominium sector, with over 125,000 sales in more than 750 developments, representing over $35 billion in sales. I take a quantitative and analytical approach to marketing projects, and specialize in entering and developing new markets. Besides leading Milborne Group, I am also a partner in Luxhabitat Sotheby’s, formally Gulf Sotheby’s International Realty, and am often honored with invitations to speak on the topic of sales and marketing.
