As a Senior Backend Developer at Awake Labs, I work on a platform that supports organizations to improve healthcare for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. With more than five years of experience in the R&D of various industry and academic software projects, I have developed strong skills in backend development, machine learning, and natural language processing.

I have a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Manitoba, where I focused on privacy-preserving deep learning and NLP on medical text data. I have also completed several online courses on neural networks and deep learning from Coursera. I have hands-on experience with AWS EC2, ECS, ECR, ALB, RDS, CloudWatch, and Autoscaling. I have also led small development teams and supervised fresh engineer recruits. I am passionate about applying my knowledge and skills to create scalable and impactful solutions for healthcare.
