Yasaman is an Associate Professor in the Brain & Mind Institute and the Department of Languages & Cultures at Western University. She is a linguist and works on second language acquisition, bilingualism and language change. She is working with Syngli on testing its approach to adult second (and beyond) language learning, including emphasis on expressive aspects such as handwriting, and on multilingual corpus creation.
