Product @ ZayZoon

Product leader and strategist passionate about moving companies from the “signs of product-market fit” phase to the scale-up phase. Attracted to ventures that not only make money, but have a demonstrably positive impact on its customers' or users' well-being. I speed up the transition from startup to scale-up by: 1. Introducing and maintaining discipline and agility in prioritization and product execution 2. Finding data that highlights the major parts of the product and systems that are high-friction, could work better, or should be rebuilt entirely (while helping teams filter out the noise and avoid squirrel-chasing) 3. Running inexpensive and quick experiments to identify and make high-impact changes that work out the kinks in the gears and get that flywheel ready to move Product folks at early stage companies MUST fill multiple roles to be successful and my background in sales, operations and engineering give me the chops to do just that. So, whether it's running user interviews to understand and develop persona, participating directly in business development activities, running epic and initiative shaping and scoping sessions, or nerding out building out data and BI infrastructure, I get right in there and do what needs to be done to move faster and more efficiently. I believe in empowering the teams that surround me with context, because although growth is hard work, the big picture is generally not hard to understand, and well-grasped context at every level helps bring people, product and systems to a point where a company can pour fuel on the fire and get it roaring.
