Dalton Russell

Automotive & Industrial Design Student

After working largely in the automotive industry for 10 years in a number of roles such as; repair, sales, manufacturing, quality assurance and entrepreneurship, I decided to begin pursuing a Bachelor of Industrial Design at Carleton University where I am learning to take ideas to physical products by utilizing a number of 2D & 3D design software including Solidworks, the Adobe Creative Suite, and AutoCAD. During the summer of my first year I worked at Natural Resources Canada in their Ground Control Laboratory doing destructive testing on ground control and stabilization hardware used primarily in the mining industry.

I am actively seeking opportunities to further develop my skills and experience while I complete my studies.
