Drawing on his extensive background in finance and utility development, he oversees the financial and commercial analysis for various transactions, including greenfield opportunities, asset acquisitions, and strategic partnerships. Ashkan brings over 12 years of valuable experience to the role, having spent seven years at EPCOR Commercial Services, where he developed Regulated and Non-Regulated Water, Wastewater, Natural Gas, Electricity, and Waste-to-Energy infrastructure and systems. Prior to that, he worked at TD Bank Financial Group for five years. Ashkan completed his education at the University of Alberta and the CFA Institute. Ashkan is proficient in complex financial modeling and has a proven track record in the origination and development of sole-sourced greenfield opportunities. With his unique blend of technical and financial skills, Ashkan is well-equipped to play a key role in the energy transition.
