Brett currently serves and the Interim Chief Executive Officer of All Home. From 2003 - 2022, Brett Andrews served as the chief executive officer of San Francisco-based PRC, whose mission is to help some of the city’s most vulnerable - people affected by poverty, HIV/AIDS, substance use, and mental health issues - realize their full potential by providing health and human services to help them reclaim their lives. Serving over 6,500 clients annually, the organization operates with a staff of 300 and an annual budget of $35 million. Brett was a co-chair of the San Francisco Human Services Network, and an active leader within the SF HIV/AIDS Provider Network, Our City Our Home Oversight Committee, the San Francisco Economic Recovery Taskforce, and the San Francisco Business Times Leadership Trust. Additionally, he served on the board of the California Association of Alcohol and Drug Program Executives. He currently serves on the Board of the Catalight Foundation

As a result of Mayor Gavin Newsom’s Care Not Cash Initiative in 2002, Brett led PRC to become the largest provider of Social Security Insurance advocacy in San Francisco, and remains so to this day. More recently, Brett served on Mayor London Breed’s CBO Taskforce and the Mayor’s Methamphetamine Taskforce. He is a former San Francisco Ethics Commissioner and a former Rockwood Leadership Institute Fellow, and in 2017, he received the Heritage of Pride Grand Marshal Award for providing more than 10 years of service to the LGBTQ community. In 2020, Brett received the Leadership Award from the California Legislative LGBTQ Caucus.

Since 2019, Brett has convened the Black Leadership Council (BLC), a collection of San Francisco-based Black leaders across local government, health and human service organizations, and other sectors. The Council has developed a suite of statewide public policy proposals to improve economic and social conditions for Black Californians.

Prior to joining PRC, Brett served as the executive director for Los Angeles Team Mentoring, Inc. (LATM), a youth-serving organization that operates TeamWorks, a program that matches middle school youth with quality mentors. Prior to LATM, Brett served as the executive director for Kids n' U, Inc., a New York-based youth-serving nonprofit organization sponsored by Michael Kors.

Brett earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Pennsylvania State University and a Master of Arts in industrial/organizational psychology from George Washington University. He lives in Healdsburg with his adorable dog, Mad Max.
