Interim Chief Risk & Compliance Officer (CRCO) Steve Forman brings decades of expertise in healthcare with a distinct focus on developing and implementing compliance programs, assessing risks and delivering targeted compliance training. A certified public accountant, Steve comes from Strategic Management Services, a consulting service that empowers healthcare organizations to meet regulatory compliance requirements. Prior to that, he served more than ten years as the Vice President of Internal Audit and Compliance at New York-Presbyterian Hospital, where he was responsible for internal audit, corporate compliance and HIPAA privacy. He has also held leadership positions with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.
