Mr. Mike Sekerka is responsible for product line management, product marketing and application engineering at RANOVUS®.

Mike has extensive experience in commercializing innovative technologies and launching new products into various markets. Prior to joining RANOVUS®, Mike was the CEO of Neptec Technologies Corp., a developer of innovative 3D LiDAR sensors for industrial robotics based on technologies originally developed for NASA’s Space Shuttle by sister company Neptec Design Group Ltd.

Prior to joining Neptec Technologies in 2011, Mike held senior roles in systems engineering, product management, project management, new product introduction and manufacturing operations in both start-up companies and large corporations, including DragonWave, Innovance Networks, Nortel Networks, and Cambrian Systems (acquired by Nortel). Mike started his career as an Aerospace Engineering Officer in the Canadian Air Force.

Mike received his Bachelor of Engineering (Engineering Physics) degree from the Royal Military College of Canada and a Master of Engineering degree in photonics from McGill University, as well as an Executive MBA from the University of Fredericton. Mike is a licensed Professional Engineer and serves on the Academic Board of the University of Fredericton.

In his spare time, he enjoys downhill skiing, cycling, music, reading and traveling.
