Mr. John Martinho is responsible for all aspects of product Research and Development at RANOVUS®.

Prior to joining RANOVUS®, John was SVP for Research and Development at Lumentum, where he was responsible for a broad range of products across many platforms. He led the development of Lumentum’s industry leading TrueFlex® Wavelength Selective Switch product offering as well as Lumentum (JDSU) ODM Optical Transport Circuit Pack portfolio including the product realization of the “ROADM on a blade”.

During his twenty-five-year tenure with Lumentum (JDSU), John managed global development teams in the areas of embedded systems, firmware, hardware and optical communication technology product development and realization.

From 1998 to 2002, he was responsible for Research and Development in the Test and Measurement group at JDS Uniphase.

John holds a B.Eng. in Electrical Engineering from McGill University.
