With over seven years of experience, I approach software development with a strong grounding in computer science, focusing on abstractions, data modelling and architecture before proceeding to choosing the right suite of tools and technologies to implement a solution. My experience lies primarily in cloud application development, with a focus on building extensible platforms for data collection and analytics. I also have experience with UX design and engineering, and appreciate opportunities to collaborate with end users to best capture their vision. In the workplace, I am interested in the dynamics of team process and communication, and am always looking for ways to provide leadership, both within my team and in cross-team collaboration.

Outside of work, I have a broad range of interests, including building community, camping and hiking, board games, sports, and volunteering. Throughout all of that, spending time with my family is a core part of my life.
