KEY ACHIEVEMENTS:
⮚ Proud to have built a unique Point of Sale system for a retreat & venue company that saved the company $10,000s of dollars in vendor bills. The system was built from scratch with separate dockerized development & production environments on AWS via Git. The system used a unique UI to represent both retreats & venues, which made it easier for users to browse for a different category of products on the same page. {The system used a unique UI to visually represent the Point-of-Sale document, which made it much easier for legal to verify all the data. I also led a team to create a proper UX design to make it easy for users to input needed data in a form wizard with multiple steps.
⮚ Created a multi-tenant, multi-database SaaS that manages & suggests accommodations for people with disabilities reducing entry & data errors by 50%. The system had a central database with shared data for all the tenants & separate databases for each tenant. Automated loaders would load updates from the central database to the tenant databases, however, there was a separate UI component just in case a tenant did not want automatic updates.
⮚ Optimized a client’s customer processing program written in PHP7 to achieve a multifold increase in efficiency with a multi-threaded approach to facilitate buyers & sellers to exchange information. That approach not only gave them an increase in performance but also the ability to customize how many customers to process at the same time, depending on the server load. The project involved USAID where a bidding process was involved. Improved the bidding & transaction processes by 50%.
⮚ Developed an ERP for procurement, HR, monitoring and evaluation, inventory & CRM of a non-government organization in the health sector. Finished project 3 months ahead of schedule &$30,000 under budget.
