Since qualifying from Bristol University Vet School in 1996, Joe combined a career as a clinical small animal veterinarian with a role as a media vet on the BBC, before focussing on his passion for animal nutrition. He went on to co-found some of the UK's most successful pet nutrition brands including Vet's Kitchen, a leading UK natural brand of science-led foods, and tails.com, the first fully personalised dog nutrition brand. Joe now leads VetChef, a pet-tech business which helps pet parents feed healthy home-made meals, and is working on research into the canine microbiome and the impact of diet on gut health.
