Tehmina Masud

Tehmina Masud is the Vice President and Head of Target Identification at Deep Genomics. Tehmina leads a team of multidisciplinary biologists and geneticists, driving innovative target identification and discovery platforms leveraging Deep Genomics’ AI/ML models and advanced statistical genetic techniques.

 


With over 14 years of medical and research experience, Tehmina brings extensive expertise in genetics, translational research, and precision medicine across diverse therapeutic areas. Between 2013 and 2019, Tehmina served as a postdoctoral fellow at the BC Cancer Research Center in Vancouver, Canada. During that time, Tehmina made significant contributions to cross-functional oncology research, focusing on DNA repair pathways, tumor evolution, targeted therapies, and cutting-edge single-cell genomic technologies.  

 

 


Tehmina holds a Ph.D. in Human Genetics from the University of Michigan and an MBBS from Pakistan.
