Radu Dobrin serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Deep Genomics, where he spearheads the integration of artificial intelligence and machine learning. He believes that a prediction is only as good as the data it follows and is passionate about linking analytical predictions to biological validation. At Deep Genomics, he leads the team in the development of AI foundation models to fundamentally change the drug development process.

Radu earned his Ph.D. in Physics of Disordered Media from Michigan State University in 2002. During his doctoral studies, he conducted independent research in various subfields of theoretical solid-state physics, solving complex problems by designing algorithmic methods and deriving analytical solutions.
