Hartin Code

Chief of Staff at BrainBox AI

I enjoy building and scaling companies that make a positive impact on the world by adopting a worthwhile mission and delighting their customers through meaningful products and services. Currently, this means decarbonizing the built environment – the largest contributor to global GHG emissions – by disrupting the HVAC industry and expanding the adoption of BrainBox AI optimization technology. I thrive in a structureless environment where decision making is critical – in early stage ventures, time is your worst enemy. Often forced to make decisions without complete information or supporting data, gut instincts are both good and necessary. In this display of confidence, humility is paramount. One must be willing to recalibrate with the arrival of new information, and quickly. Formerly an Equity Derivatives Trader at Deutsche Bank, I graduated from Harvard University with a degree in Economics and minor in Computer Science. In my community, I seek out opportunities to stay fit (ice hockey, if possible), eat well (at home as much as out), and support the arts (on a stage and in a gallery).
