Valentine’s day is awarded as the day that we spend showing people that we care. The stores package gifts with hearts, goodies, jewelry, stuffed animals and so much more. Do you know what many kids crave, is the easiest give to give and yet the hardest to remember?
Your time.
To be fully present in the moment with your child. Doing something they love.
This means shutting off your phone, looking your child in the eyes and listening to them.
Listen to their stories, their hopes, dreams and fears.
If they don’t have much to say, just be in the moment with them with a favorite movie.
Your presence is the only present they need this valentine’s day.
